The only thing nice about this facility is the way it looks. This is a horrible place to work. The employees get treated like trash and aren’t respected. The administrator yells and cusses at you over the walkies. When you quit you get talked about publicly, say you’ll never be hired back then get asked to come back because they can’t keep any cna’s. The whole building is full of agency because no core staff wants to work there. 1000% don’t recommend this place.

When my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 4 years ago and had to move in with me, I worried about her being alone while I was at work. I also knew a time would come when she would need to move to a memory care senior living residence. Colonial Oaks was the third place I visited and it was unlike any of the other places I visited. The staff and Executive Director Trischa were very welcoming and it felt like home. The staff of care givers are amazing and build relationships with all the residents as well as the family of the residents.. Mom now has many daily activities and is never board. Music theory is one of her favorite times of day! She has a group of new friends and they spend time together everyday. I can not say enough about the staff and I know mom is receiving the kind and compassionate care she deserves. I am very thankful that I was able to find this amazing place for mom.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. If you love your family member at all stay away from this place like the plague.

When seeking long term care for a loved one, the first things that usually come to mind are safety, comfort, cleanliness, and a professional caring staff. Colonial Oaks of Tulsa can check all those boxes plus a lot more. Dealing with dementia can often be frustrating, thankless, and a challenge to anyone’s patience, but the folks at Colonial Oaks treat their residents like family, ones that simply need some extra care, compassion, and understanding. My family couldn’t be more pleased with this facility.

I'm very fortunate to have been directed to Colonial Oaks Senior Living by a dear friend. My mom has been a resident at her new "home" for 2 yrs. She receives outstanding care and respect from all the staff. She feels very loved. The caregivers have a great relationship with her & our entire family. They are as dedicated to making us feel as welcome as they have my mom. The daily activities, animal therapy, games, music, gardening, etc. are such a godsend to keep her as actively involved with others as possible. I have much gratitude and praise for the entire team. And the remodel is absolutely beautiful!Susie Ragan

I would highly recommend colonial oaks, my dad has been a resident for over a year, and he is happy and it is home for him. He has plenty of room to walk around. Staff and care givers are excellent with the residents.

My mom has been a resident here for almost 2 years. Their staff is so kind and caring. I never worried for her well-being during the lockdown in 2020 for COVID. I knew she was in good hands. The aides are wonderful with her and always have a smile on their face when I visit. Billy, the Resident RN is so good with her and always responds quickly when I have questions or concerns. I frequently get pictures of my mom when they have events and fun activities. Carolyn, the activities director is wonderful! She always plans fun activities and kept us in touch I would recommend this place to anyone in need of memory care for a loved one!

I have visited many memory care communities and the team at Colonial Oaks of Tulsa is remarkable. It is clean and fresh. Danna, the Executive Director is vibrant and very compassionate. I love being associated with them.
