Colonial Oaks at Arlington is a dedicated memory care community focused solely on providing person-centered care and services to older adults living with dementia centrally located in Arlington, Texas between Dallas and Fort Worth. Colonial Oaks at Arlington is located across the street from Vandergriff Park and minutes from Medical City Arlington, close to the shops and restaurants of Parks Mall and Arlington Highlands. A trained, memory care staff is on site 24-hours per day to provide Texas hospitality and care for resident’s physical and cognitive needs.

Our Rhythm of the Day® Memory Care Program is rooted in the idea that daily routines create harmony and security—just as a steady rhythm is the foundation of a soaring melody. Home-like amenities include:

  • Large closets with ample storage

  • Large windows

  • Bath spa's

  • Fire/Smoke detector and sprinkler system

  • Apartment Maintenance

  • Window coverings and carpeting

  • Housekeeping

  • Bed linens and towels provided

  • Weekly personal laundry

  • Health monitoring

  • Special diet menu

  • Social, recreational and spiritual programs

  • Around-the-clock staff

  • All utilities (except cable and telephone)

  • All maintenance of grounds and common areas

  • Three delicious meals served daily by our gracious and courteous staff along with healthy snacks

Ombudsman Program

The Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman is an independent organization within the Texas Health and Human Services Commission that advocates for the rights of long-term care facility residents. A long-term care ombudsman helps residents of a nursing facility and residents of an assisted living facility resolve complaints. Help provided by an ombudsman is confidential and free of charge.
