Duck Creek Golf Club

The Duck Creek Golf Club is one of the most scenic courses in all of Garland, and members have treasured it since its establishment during World War II. The course meanders through gorgeous trees dating back decades ago when they grew on this land before being planted as part of Operation LUSTRE (Land Us With Renewed Interest). There are also majestic views right outside our doors at DCC, where you can see picturesque Duck Creek below while playing golf or just taking advantage of some time alone outdoors. The course itself has been designed with nature’s beauty as its primary focus and comes complete with lush trees that have stood since before most people were born, scenic views on the clear blue skies, or an opportunity to play some golf while wearing winter clothes.

The former Oakridge Country Club, now Duck Creek Golf Course, is a short target course that only plays around 6500 yards from the tips (par 71) and offers very hacker-friendly green fees at just under 7000 yds. The six thousand dollar challenge lies in navigating tricky windy paths with water hazards, including three other holes containing ponds on every hole; however, these risks are worth taking for such small greens which make shots challenging yet possible because they’re fast- and if you don’t hit your line-up perfectly then par may not be too high.

The holes at No. 15 are signature–a 354-yard par 4 with significant mounding and Duck Creek on the left, but it also has some of your favorite features about this course. The small green nestled into a grove of oak trees provides an exciting approach shot because you have plenty of room to roll your ball before hitting anything besides dirt or wood chips (or both).

Visitors to the course can play daily with an admission pass, so even if you don’t live in Garland, TX or are just passing through, we’re sure that this beautiful area will be worth your time. The course rating is 71.3, and it has a slope rating of 125 on Bermuda grass, which means that this golf link will challenge even experienced players to take their game up another level. It was designed by PGA professional Stephen Cox in collaboration with locals who know how vital quality land preservation can be for our environment – so go ahead: give Duck Creek Golf Course (a new addition) your best shot right now as early as now.
